WordPress database

TrueSift Ad Detect stores only administrator configuration in WordPress.

Version 1.0.1 does not create a detection history and does not store visitor IP addresses, user agents or detection results in the WordPress database.

Reminder state

The optional reminder does not create a cookie. If a visitor dismisses it, only an expiry timestamp is stored in browser localStorage.

Content Protection

Content Protection runs locally in the browser. Copied content is not sent to TrueSift and is not stored in WordPress.

When source attribution is enabled, the canonical URL of the current page is added to the clipboard locally.

Public scanner service

AdBlock detection is disabled by default. When enabled, the visitor browser requests neutral and ad-specific probe resources from:

https://ad-detect.truesift.de

The Scanner V2 runtime itself is loaded locally from the plugin. Only the public probe resources are requested from the scanner service.

Like ordinary HTTP requests, the scanner service processes standard connection metadata such as the visitor IP address and HTTP request headers. The WordPress plugin does not send a WordPress user account, site secret, management token, form content or detection history to the scanner service.
