Installation and configuration

Requirements

• WordPress 7.0+;
• PHP 8.2+.

Version 1.0.1 is tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Installation

1. Upload the truesift-ad-detect folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install the plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate TrueSift Ad Detect.
3. Open TrueSift Ad Detect > Detection.
4. Choose how the site should respond to a confirmed AdBlock detection.
5. Open Content Protection if you want to control right-click, copying or source attribution.
6. Open Appearance to match the reminder, placement and width to your website.
7. Enable detection when the configuration is ready.

Detection

The Detection screen controls whether TrueSift Ad Detect is active and which response follows a confirmed blocked result.

Available flows include:

• friendly reminder;
• redirect to your own page;
• custom integration for your own front-end UI.

Appearance

The built-in reminder supports:

• light and dark base appearance;
• custom colors;
• adjustable width;
• corner radius;
• typography;
• six placement options;
• live preview in WordPress admin.

Content Protection

Content Protection is independent from AdBlock detection. Right-click, copying and optional source attribution can be configured separately.
