WebDigiTech Content Shield

WebDigiTech Content Shield is a WordPress plugin with two independently configurable modules: Content Protection and AdBlock Protection. You can enable only the functions a site actually needs.

Core capabilities

  • AdBlock Protection detects active ad blockers and shows a discreet notice without locking content or navigation.
  • Content Protection can restrict common actions such as right-click, Copy/Cut, drag operations and selected keyboard shortcuts.
  • Both modules are managed independently.
  • Notice text, colors, borders, radius and typography can be adapted to the website design.
  • Visitors can disable their ad blocker for the site and recheck, open help, or postpone the reminder.
  • The plugin extends WordPress privacy tools with privacy-policy information, data export, data erasure and automatic cleanup of expired AdBlock records.

AdBlock Protection

AdBlock Protection is optional and disabled by default. When enabled, the plugin uses the TrueSift infrastructure required for the check and displays a notice at the bottom of the screen when an ad blocker is detected.

The website remains accessible. The goal is to inform the visitor rather than lock them out.

Content Protection

Content Protection runs locally in the browser and can restrict common copying and interaction actions. It is a protection layer, not DRM: content already delivered to a browser cannot be technically protected completely from saving, inspection or screenshots.

Installation and configuration

Content Shield is installed as a standard WordPress plugin. After activation, select the required modules and configure visitor text, reminder period and appearance.

Privacy

Content Protection does not require an external service. Only the optional AdBlock module uses TrueSift infrastructure for the required check. The plugin does not load external analytics or font services for this functionality.
