AdBlock detection

TrueSift Ad Detect checks the browser quietly and performs the configured response only for a confirmed blocked result.

Enabling detection

AdBlock detection is disabled by default. Enable it under TrueSift Ad Detect > Detection after configuring the desired response.

Response options

Friendly reminder

The built-in reminder is non-blocking. You can adjust its text, reminder period, colors, width, typography, corner radius and position.

If a visitor dismisses the reminder, only its expiry timestamp is stored in browser localStorage.

Redirect

A confirmed detection can redirect the visitor to your own information or support page.

Custom front-end integration

For a custom interface, use the custom integration option. The browser event is:

event.detail contains the validated Scanner V2 result.

Fail-open behavior

Only blocked is authoritative for the configured response. The following cases do not block the visitor:

  • clear;
  • limited;
  • unknown;
  • invalid scanner responses;
  • scanner failures;
  • network failures.
