Content Protection

Content Protection is a local browser protection layer for restricting common copying and interaction actions.

What it can restrict

Depending on configuration, it can restrict:

  • right-click;
  • Copy and Cut;
  • drag operations;
  • selected keyboard shortcuts.

Input fields and editors remain usable so normal forms and editing flows are not disrupted.

What it does not promise

Content Protection is not DRM. Content already delivered to a browser cannot be fully protected from:

  • saving;
  • inspection with developer tools;
  • extraction through another technical route;
  • screenshots.

The goal is to discourage common direct copying actions without presenting the feature as absolute protection.
